Big Spring Campground is located just south of Van Buren, Missouri. The campground offers a variety of sunny or shaded sites, all within walking distance of Big Spring and the Current River. A variety of hiking trails cover the area, making this a great destination year-round. Electric and non-electric sites are available year-round. Sites may be reserved at www.recreation.gov.

Big Spring Campground is open year-round, though certain loops are closed in winter. To see which sites are available, visit the recreation.gov website.
Reservations can be made online at www.recreation.gov. Starting on January 1, 2025, all sites will be available by reservation only. Same-day reservations are available.
Make a Reservation →Big Spring Campground is located just south of Van Buren, Missouri. From Van Buren, turn south onto Highway 103 (from State Highway 60) and follow the road to Big Spring. The campground is located northeast of the spring, across the large field.
Ozark National Scenic Riverways is located in southeast Missouri. Summer temperatures generally range from 75-100 degrees with high humidity. Winter temperatures generally range from 0-50 degrees with periods of intermittent freezing and snow.
Accessible restrooms are located near the accessible campsites, with sidewalks leading to the restroom facility.
Limited cell signal is usually available, but days with more visitors may create service outages.
