About
The Evans Group site is located in a clearing on one end of Evans Campground. The site holds a maximum of 25 people, with ample space for RV parking and/or tents. Clusters of pine trees provide shade. The boat launch is located nearby and a Day Use Area with covered picnic area and swim beach caps the other end of the campground. The campground itself is busy and may fill on the weekends.

Evans Group Site is open seasonally. Amenities like flush restrooms, water, and the dump station are not available in winter. They become available again when weather and lake water level allow. Group sites are closed for maintenance on Wednesdays.

Evans is located off of WA 25. From Kettle Falls, drive north on US 395. Turn right onto WA 25 North. Follow WA 25 North for approximately 9 miles. Turn left at the Evans Campground sign.
Weather
Summer weather is hot and buggy, with highs averaging in the 90s and lows in the 50s. Rain and thunderstorms can happen any time of year. In the winter, expect cold temperatures and possible snow. Temperatures can vary in spring and fall. Be prepared for many types of weather in all seasons.
Accessibility
Several campground restrooms are wheelchair accessible. All campground roads are paved, but the group site parking area is not. The campground amphitheater is not wheelchair accessible. Access to the amphitheater is over uneven ground with a steep slope down to the stage.

Fires are permitted only in the designated fire rings, and only as long as there are no burn bans or dangerous fire weather.

The group site can accommodate most RV lengths. Vehicles, trailers, or RVs cannot be parked on the grass or anywhere except the designated parking spot for each site. Evans Campground does not have hookups.

The group site has a designated parking area and a few picnic tables and fire pit with grate. There is a boat launch (1280’) with adjacent parking lot. There is a Day Use Area with covered picnic area and swim beach. Water and flush facilities are turned off during the winter and periods of extreme low water. Please check with us to be sure water is available.

The campground access road is paved. The group site parking area is packed gravel. Campsite areas, like picnic tables and fire pits, are unpaved. Restrooms, including the pit toilet near the group site, have paved pathways from the road.
