Clubhouse Campground is nestled on the banks of the lower Current River. This remote campground is far off the beaten path, allowing for a rustic experience. Basic amenities and partial shade make for a lovely campground. Visitors can enjoy easy river access and a number of nearby attractions, like Clubhouse Bluff or the old Tram Road. Clubhouse Bluff is located a short drive from the campground.

Clubhouse Campground is typically open throughout the year. The campground may be temporarily closed during/after flooding or storms.

Make a Reservation →Clubhouse Campground can be found at the end of County Road 60-221, in Carter County, MO. From Ellsinore, drive about 6.5 miles west on Highway 60. From there, turn west onto State Highway ZZ. Drive 1 mile to the bend of Highway ZZ, where it intersects with County Road 60-221. From there, follow the county road south for about 4.75 miles. The campground is located near the bottom of a hill, along the Current River. This route requires driving on gravel roads for almost 5 miles. Some areas are steep.
Ozark National Scenic Riverways is located in southeast Missouri. Summer temperatures generally range from 75-100 degrees with high humidity. Winter temperatures generally range from 0-50 degrees with periods of intermittent freezing and snow.
Apart from the restroom building, this area is not wheelchair accessible.
Cell phone service is generally unreliable. Connectivity depends on carrier and location within the campground. Visitors may be able to get some service at Clubhouse Bluff, located uphill from the campground.

RVs and trailers are allowed as specified in our campground regulations. However, reaching this campground requires driving on gravel roads of varying steepness. Visitors may have difficulty getting their RVs/campers down to this location.

The restroom facility is accessible with an accessible parking space. Otherwise, there are no ADA camp sites within this campground. For nearby accessible campsites, please visit Big Spring Campground instead.
