The Central Beach Walk-In Sites has 5 sites, and you will walk a distance to get to your campsite. There is a primitive toilet (porta-potty) by the Central Beach parking lot for the entire season. There is no drinkable water in the area so you must bring your own water.

All fires must be made in the provided fire ring. Please do not collect sticks for fires. • Damaging trees, especially cutting down or driving nails into trees is prohibited. • Fireworks, including sparklers, are prohibited.

Trailers and RVs cannot fit into the Central Beach parking lot. There is no space to turn around.

• 1 picnic table at each site. • 1 communal fire ring with 2 picnic tables. Firewood will be supplied by the park. • Primitive toilet (porta-potty) located at the parking lot for the entire season. • No potable water is available at the campsites. Bring your own, use the comfort station (do not count on the comfort station as a water source), or purify water from Lake Michigan. • No trash receptacles at the campsites or parking lot. Pack out all trash to your home. • Parking for 2 cars per site at the Central Avenue Beach parking lot. You cannot drive to your campsite. These are primitive, walk-in only campsites.

There is a large hill with uneven terrain to walk up to get to each site. The site is grass covered. There is a porta potty at the entrance of Central Beach and seasonal restrooms are located downhill at the Central Beach shoreline.
