Tyler Bend Campground is a developed campground in the middle district of the park. It has 27 drive-in sites, 10 walk-in tent sites, 5 group sites, and a pavilion. The campground has flush restrooms, showers, dump station, potable water, but no electrical amenities. Reservations are required through recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777. Fees are charged from approximately March 15 through November 14. It is free to camp over the winter, but amenities are limited during that time.

The turn off to Tyler Bend Campground is off of Highway 65 about 30 miles south of Harrison and 15 miles north of Marshall, Arkansas. The campground is located near the Buffalo River, beyond the Tyler Bend Visitor Center. There are 28 drive in sites available for RVs or tents. No hookups available. There are 10 walk in tent only sites and 5 group sites. Flush restrooms, showers, and potable water are available. Fees charged March 15 - November 15.

Make a Reservation →Tyler Bend campground is about 2.5 miles off Highway 65 between St. Joe, AR and Marshall, Arkansas. Signs on the highway indicate the turn onto the park road. The campground is the first turn to the right after you pass the visitor center.
Summer in the Ozarks can be very hot and humid. Please check the weather forecast prior to your arrival and plan accordingly. The weather the rest of the year has the potential to be wet and cool or dry and warm. Please pay special attention to river levels and the rain forecast when planning a trip on the river. River levels can rise dramatically in a short period of time so please be aware of conditions.
Restrooms have stalls with grab bars. Restrooms may be accessed by paved walkways that have some incline. Restroom doors are heavy with no automatic openers.
Most cell phones get service in the campground area.
Please keep fires in the designated fire rings. Cook stoves are allowed. Grills are available at each site.

RVs & trailers may utilize drive-in sites only. RV & trailer campers are not permitted at group sites or walk-in sites. Drive-in sites are paved and vehicles must stay on pavement. RV & trailer campers should choose sites large enough for their equipment.

All sites have tent pads. Sites with trees suitable for hammock camping are limited.
