The Locust Grove Group sites are located at the townsite of Old Kettle Falls, near Kettle Falls Campground and Kettle Falls Day Use Area. There are two sites with a capacity for 50 people and 75 people, respectively. A nature trail leads to Kettle Falls Campground and Kettle Falls Day Use Area with swim beach. Locust Grove Group sites are spacious and set apart from the hustle and bustle of the Kettle Falls Campground area.

Locust Grove Group sites are open seasonally, but water is not available in winter or times of low lake level. Group sites are closed for maintenance on Wednesdays.
The Locust Grove group sites must be reserved year-round. Reservations must be made seven or more days in advance of your stay, and up to twelve months beforehand. Changes to your reservation cannot be made within seven days of your scheduled arrival. Reservations may have additional fees.
Make a Reservation →From Kettle Falls, drive north on US 395. Turn left onto WA 25 south. After about ½ mile, turn right onto Old Kettle Road. At the bottom of the hill (4-way intersection), turn left onto Kettle Park Road / S Riverside Avenue. Turn right at the Locust Grove Group Sites sign.
Summer weather is hot and buggy, with highs averaging in the 90s and lows in the 50s. Rain and thunderstorms can happen any time of year. In the winter, expect cold temperatures and possible snow. Temperatures can vary in spring and fall. Be prepared for many types of weather in all seasons.
Much of the group sites are not wheelchair accessible. The campground access road is paved, but the entire camping area (such as picnic tables, parking spaces, and pit toilets) is unpaved and over uneven ground.

Fires are permitted only in the designated fire rings, and only as long as there are no burn bans or dangerous fire weather.

RVs and trailers may camp at Evans. The group sites can accommodate most RV lengths. Locust Grove does not have hookups.

The group sites have a few picnic tables and fire pits with grates. There is a nearby Day Use Area with covered picnic area and swim beach. The dump station, amphitheater, and camp hosts are located at nearby Kettle Falls Campground. Kettle Falls Campground also has a boat launch (1280’) with adjacent parking lot. Water is turned off during the winter and periods of extreme low water. Please check with us to be sure water is available.

The campground access road is paved. The group site parking area is uneven ground. Campsite areas, like picnic tables and fire pits, are unpaved. The pit toilet is accessed over unpaved, uneven ground.
