Mosquitoes are common, and insect spray is recommended. Open year round.

There are two accessible-designated campsites. They are located on flat, grassy terrain with a grill and picnic table. Neither has a designated tent site. Paved loop roads and wooden boardwalks to the two comfort stations nearest the entrance provide firm paths of travel around the campground. A single accessible-marked shower is located near the comfort station on Loop B. It contains a bench but no grab bars. The shower head is handheld and is mounted at a height of 60 inches. The lever to activate it is slightly higher at 67 inches.
