Fire Island National Seashore to Resume Deer Management Operations After Pause During January Winter Storm
PATCHOGUE, NY – Deer removal operations will resume at Fire Island National Seashore after a pause in January due to winter storm impacts and frigid temperatures. The Seashore’s White-tailed Deer Management Plan will resume between February 23 and 27 on National Park Service (NPS) lands on Fire Island.
